Twelve questions before we start

Your answers decide what we build in this project, and who we build it with. Half an hour of work, and it saves a full session of digging. There is no right or wrong, and "I don't know" counts as an answer.

Tip: speak your answers instead of typing them

The questions below ask for stories, not keywords. That goes much faster when you talk. Install Wispr Flow: you hold down a key, you say what you think, and it lands as clean text in the field. It works on Mac and Windows in any text box, so it works in this form too.

Rather not install anything? Then type in half sentences. We will turn them into full ones.

Your answers are stored in this browser as you go, so you can stop halfway and continue later on the same device. They only reach us once you press send at the bottom.

Who is filling this in

The work

Where the time goes now, and what we tackle first.

Think of the work someone sighs at when it turns up on the planning.

These three become the first skills we build together. Name them concretely, with an example if you can.

A shared drive, a wiki, a handbook, an AI subscription nobody uses. What failed is useful too, that especially.

Someone retiring, someone who is the only one who knows how a thing works, a role that is hard to replace.

The people

A Second Brain without an owner stalls within a month. Hence these questions.

One person, by name. This is the most important question in the whole form: if that role does not exist, we advise you not to start yet.

Name and role. Preferably the people who actually do the tasks from question 2.

The technology

Short, and you may point us to your IT colleague or IT partner.

A name and email address help, because we need this person during setup.

CRM, ticketing system, shared drive, calendar, project tool. Brand names are welcome.

Customer data, personal data, rates, contract terms, anything under an NDA. Better named now than discovered later.

Agreements

As concrete as you can make it. This is what we hold the project against at delivery.
